ROATx has  partnered with NAIT " Northern Alberta Institute of Technology" to provide a distance learning program that will help new and current Opticians become part of the Academic Professions by developing their Ophthalmic Optics skills via home study Optical Science training using their home computer. No longer do Opticians need to rely solely on what their current employer is able to teach them. This new training program allows currently ABO or NCLE certified Opticians to receive one years credit toward a two year Diploma in the Art and Science of Opticianry.
